Your wings were ready but our hearts were not
On March 18th, 2020, Joyce Marilyn Rasmussen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born in Acme on May 7th, 1937. Her family moved to Carstairs, where she worked and raised her family. She is survived by two sons, Willie (Trish) Rasmussen, Dave (Bev) Rasmussen, two grandchildren Tannis (Wade) Duncalfe, Tyler (Kathryn) Rasmussen, four great grandchildren, Tia and Kaiya Duncalfe, Logan and Brody Rasmussen, her sisters Phyllis Resta, Isabelle Pitkanen and Helen Hunter and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Warren Rasmussen. Joyce loved farm life, her family and the many beautiful flowers she grew and planted. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
Due to circumstances caused by COVID-19 we will not be having a public service.
