Kenneth Norman Jordet “Pa”, beloved husband of 62 years to Margaret, passed away in Olds, AB on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

Besides his beloved wife Margaret, Ken will be lovingly remembered by his children Norman of Didsbury, AB, Nelson of Kihei, Hawaii and Sandi (Steve) King of Vancouver Island, BC; grandson Justin Jordet of Calgary and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Mallo on October 21, 1953, mother Ruby in July 1974 and brother Le Roy on October 28, 2010.

Ken was born in Lumsden, SK and along with his brother, mother and father moved north to the homestead farm at Carrot River, SK. Eventually, Ken, Margaret and family settled in Bowness, Calgary where the family was raised. Ken enjoyed a long career as a truck driver for Johnnie’s Excavating until his retirement at age 60 and moving to Irricana, AB. They then moved to Didsbury in 1996 where they enjoyed their golden years meeting and making many new friends. Ken and Margaret enjoyed camping, fishing, small town rodeos, woodworking and gardening. Ken liked to volunteer with the Didsbury Library and “The Friends of the Didsbury Library Society” helping with their fundraiser book sales. 

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate nurses, health care aids and staff at the Olds Hospital Continuing Care Unit for helping Ken during his brief illness, along with his physician Dr. Du Duong.
