1957 - 2020

Mr. Jack William ‘Snake’ Connon of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Innisfail Health Centre on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the age of 62 years.

Jack was born in Innisfail, Alberta to Jean and Bill Connon, and since he was three years old, he loved designing roadways in the dirt; so it was not surprising when Jack went into Road Construction. Jack loved his yard and his flowers, he planted them with great care, and love, and sheltered them from storms of any kind. He was also a huge sports fan, watching whatever he could on television; or taking a short walk over to the school grounds to watch the young men play football.

Jack will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Florence (Jim) Reiber and Janis (John) Dolan; his niece, Jacqueline, his nephew, Hugh (Darla) and his two great nieces and two great nephews; along with a host of friends, especially Bernie Vanderham and Dave Hanford.

At Jack's request, a Private Family Service will be held at the Innisfail Columbarium; where he will join his mom for eternal rest. If desired, Memorial Donations in Jack's honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation at www.cancer.ca/donate. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.heartlandfuneralservices.com. Arrangements in care of: Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., 4415 – 49 Street, Innisfail, Alberta. Phone: 403.227.0006 Fax: 403.227.6437
