"Those we love don't go away.

They walk beside us every day.

Unseen, unheard, but always near.

Still loved, still missed and very dear."

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Fraser on August 8, 2022 at the age of 81 years.

Evelyn found strength in kindness.  And she shared.  She opened up her heart and home for family.  She and Gary had a loving marriage that will last eternally.  They endured loss and shared great joys with determination and reverence.  They raised thoughtful and caring children because they were.  The experiences they had camping with friends and their families were cherished memories that they leaned on during difficult times.  Whether it was a gift, or her time, Evelyn was generous.  From buying the first TV for her family at the Farm shortly after she left home to build her life to volunteering at the local food bank, the Nu2U store and her Church during her years living in Olds, she was always giving. She enjoyed meeting new people and formed lasting relationships - she loved the time she spent with her coffee friends. Evelyn took great pleasure in being a positive force in the world and making it a better place.

Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Dawn (Troy) Bowen of Calgary, son Jeff Fraser of Olds, all of her brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, her many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Gary, daughter Lana and parents James and Annette Tremblay.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 17 at 11 am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Olds.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please share kindness.
