OLDS — Olds Minor Baseball teams performed well during the tiering weekend, held May 38-29 at Rotary Athletic Park.
The Olds Spitfires U13 team obtained a 3-1 record, the U15s won all three of their games and the U18s finished 2-1.
The U-13s head to Sherwood Park next weekend for the Doc Plotsky baseball tournament along with three or four other U11AA, U13AA and U15AA local teams.
Then, from June 24-26, Olds Minor Baseball will be hosting its first annual minor baseball tournament at Rotary Athletic Park.
Twenty teams are expected to compete during that tournament.
