OLDS — The Olds Grizzlys have signed another forward who has great scoring potential.

On March 30, the Alberta Junior Hockey League team announced they had signed Brayden Taschuk of Edmonton to a letter of intent.

He is 6 feet, one inch tall, weighs 180 pounds and was born in 2003.

Taschuk has been playing for the OHA Edmonton U18 prep team this season. He scored three goals and picked up three assists for six points in five games.

“Brayden is a big, fast, physical forward who is very defensively reliable in all three zones of the rink,” a release on the Grizzlys website says.

“Brayden's skill, compete level and high hockey IQ help him to make the players around him better, as he is able to play any style of game.”
