OLDS — The Olds Grizzlys will finally play a couple of home exhibition games after playing their first four on the road.

On Wednesday, Sept. 8, the Alberta Junior Hockey League club will host the Drumheller Dragons, then take on the Canmore Eagles on Sept. 10. Game time for both of those match-ups at the Sportsplex is 7 p.m.

So far, the exhibition record for this season’s edition of the Olds Grizzlys is mixed. They’ve won some and lost some.

During the Labour Day weekend, the Grizzlys played a couple of back-to-back games against the Grande Prairie Storm in Grande Prairie.

The Grizzlys won the first game in that series, edging the Storm 4-3 on Sept. 4. However, the Storm stormed back, so to speak, and beat the Grizzlys 5-4 on Sept. 5.

The Grizzlys doubled the Lloydminster Bobcats 6-3 on Sept. 1 but were edged 2-1 by the Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Sept. 2.
