The Alberta Junior Hockey League released its 2011-12 season schedule last week, with the Olds Grizzlys opening up the exhibition schedule August 24 at the Olds Sports Complex with a contest against the Calgary Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.
The Grizzlys conclude the exhibition schedule on Sept. 6 with a game against the Drumheller Dragons on home ice. That game begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Grizzlys open up the regular season Sept. 9 with a battle against the St. Albert Steel at the Sportsplex at 8 p.m. The team's first road game of the regular season is four days later when it takes on the Mustangs at the Father David Bauer Arena. The Grizzlys' last game before the Christmas break will be on Dec. 20 when they travel to Drayton Valley to take on the Thunder.
The team resumes its schedule on Jan. 3, 2012 with a game against the Sherwood Park Crusaders at the Sportsplex. That battle begins at 7:30 p.m.
The final contest of the 60-game regular season will be on Feb. 19 against the Camrose Kodiaks in Camrose.
