A tractor went up in flames on June 9 on a field just outside of Innisfail. “The hydraulic system failed on a tractor,” said Innisfail Fire Chief John Syroid. The tractor was in a green field but was “fairly close” to an oil pumping station.

Dishwasher fire causes damage

A fire that started in the dishwasher caused some pricey damage to a Penhold home on June 30. Penhold fire chief Jim Pendergast said two homeowners suffered from smoke inhalation after their dishwasher went up in smoke at about 1:30 p.m.
