INNISFAIL – RCMP say a missing man they issued a public plea to help find this morning has been located.

Innisfail RCMP said in a news release issued this morning they were concerned for the well-being of Brandon Pitts, a 23-year-old Indigenous male.

Pitts "has been located safe and sound," said police in a news release issued on the afternoon of April 13.

"The Innisfail RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," said police in this afternoon's release.

Pitts is described as being about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and a black jacket.

RCMP said Pitts has a skull tattoo on his hand and is known to frequent Red Deer’s downtown area.
