INNISFAIL – RCMP are asking for tips from the public after two suspects pulled an ATM cash machine out of a store northeast of Innisfail early Thursday, causing extensive damage to the building.

Shortly before 5:30 a.m. the suspects broke into the Ghost Pine General Store, hooked the ATM up to a pickup truck and pulled the machine outside, said RCMP Cpl. Deanna Fontaine.

One of the suspects is described as male, heavier build, wearing a blue hoodie jacket, blue jeans, and a dark face covering.

Police do not have a description of the second suspect, she said.

She could not say whether the ATM itself was taken from the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model crew cab white Dodge Ram 1500.

The store is located at the junction of highways 42 and 816 northeast of Innisfail.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Innisfail RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
