INNISFAIL - Workers from Sylvan Lake's Lakeview Contracting Ltd. began the replacement of Innisfail's half-mile- (800 metres-) long sound wall on July 28.
The current 15-year-old wood sound wall along 42nd Avenue (Highway 2A) on the east side of town is being replaced with a new million-dollar wall that will be concrete-based and expected to last 50 years.
