BOWDEN-INNISFAIL - The Bow Inn 4-H Beef Club has held its annual club public speaking event.

The annual event was hosted by the club on Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Cottonwood Gordon Hall.

All club 4-H members must complete a communications project each year that is prepared by themselves, presented in front of a group and is at least three minutes long.

In addition, members can choose to compete in club 'speak offs' for a chance to qualify to advance to zone, district, region and provincial level competitions.

Qualifying speakers from the Bow Inn Club - Wyatt Beaudoin, Joey Matheson, Ethan Hanson, Carter Rutherford and Austin Noirot - can test their skills at the zone competition on Feb. 9.

The event is hosted by the Kneehill Valley Beef Club. This competition will include speakers from the Bow Inn Beef, Kneehill Valley Beef, Noble Riders Horse and Red Deer West Beef clubs.
