INNISFAIL – Award-winning singer Karl Wolf is coming to Innisfail on Dec. 2 to entertain with a mix between club beats and R&B at The Zoo.

The Innisfail show on Dec. 2 is Wolf’s Central Alberta stop on his independently produced 22-show tour across Canada that is covering 22 performances in 25 days.

Wolf is the winner of five SOCAN Awards, one MTV EMA, and three Juno Nods. He also just re-released a remix of his hit and breakout song Africa that can be heard on digital platforms as Africa: 4AM Remix.

Doors at The Zoo open at 8 p.m. for Wolf’s Innisfail performance. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Tickets to this event can be purchased in advance for pre-sale online for 25$ at www.karlwolf.com or contact event promoter Cindy Bee at [email protected].

Innisfail’s SHUGARBOY (Jeffrey Ingham) is an opening artist for the Dec. 2 show. SHUGARBOY is considered an innovative artist and producer who is challenging current conceptions of electronic music through the slipstreaming of numerous genres such as electro, house, hip hop, rock, and progressive house.

He has collaborated with many industry professionals and up and coming artists including Tommy Mac of Hedley, Rhys Fulber of Delerium, Elise Estrada, Baby C, Supa Dan, and The Faceplants.

“SHUGARBOY, his music manager Jackie Sonegra and I are excited to start bringing bigger name artists and a music community to a smaller community like Innisfail for our younger demographic or anyone who enjoys live music,” said Bee. “We see this is something Innisfail hasn't really offered yet and The Zoo is a wonderful Live Music Venue that has been more than willing to accommodate these events for us to continue to bring things that perhaps many people would have to travel to a bigger city for.”

Rapper Baby C will also be performing as an opening act to showcase her brand of hip-hop and pop music. Her repertoire includes five album releases, multiple music videos and more than 300 live performances across Canada; as well as in Thailand, Indonesia, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

She has shared the stage with many music icons, including Mario, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Lil Debbie, Royce Da 5’9, Karl Wolf and Swollen Members.
