Your Local Health Foundation Advocating for The Community of Sundre To Have Access to Quality, Locally Provided Health Care & to Attract & Retain Health Professionals and Facilities

Principles of the Committee:
1/ The attraction, recruitment, and retention of health professionals.
2/ Advocacy for the hospital, staff, and patients.

Purpose:
The purpose of the Committee is to:
1/ Build a sustainable system for the attraction, recruitment, and retention of health professionals in collaboration with all stakeholders.
2/ Ensure ongoing health services to the community of Sundre and the surrounding area.

Objectives:
1/ To coordinate attraction and recruitment of needed health professionals among Alberta Health and Wellness, Alberta Health Services, and the community.
2/ To reduce the need for recruitment through retention efforts.
3/ Advocate for the full use, and eventual replacement of the Sundre Hospital.
4/ Build a Campus of Rural Health Care Excellence.
5/ Facilitate community involvement in all objectives.
