Update: Police advise public that Didsbury man found safe

DIDSBURY — A Didsbury man reported missing earlier this month has been found safe, RCMP said.

Last week, police issued a release seeking help in locating Justin Lounsbury, 32, who was on June 2 reportedly last seen at the Didsbury Inn, located at 2014 - 19th Avenue.

“There is concern for Justin’s safety,” RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney said at the time.

Lounsbury was described by police in the missing person's advisory as light skinned, 1.73-metres (5-foot, 8-inches) tall, slim build, brown eyes and brown hair that is currently shaved.

In a follow-up release issued earlier today (Monday, June 27), Slaney said, “Didsbury RCMP advise that Lounsbury has been located safe.”

Anyone who had information regarding his whereabouts were asked to contact the Didsbury RCMP at 403-335-3382 or their local detachment.
