Mountain View Colts fall to Cubs on the road

Hockey squad still sits in fourth place

DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts dropped a 4-1 decision to the south division Medicine Hat Cubs on the road Saturday.

The Colts got their lone goal from Nate McNeely, with an assist from Austin Corsiatto. Netminder Chance Griffith stopped 37 of 41 shots.

Forward Corsiatto currently leads the Colts with 31 points, including 19 goals, with defenceman Laine Rothenbusch in second with 27 points, including five goals.

On Friday, the Colts are in Cochrane to face off against the Generals, and back at the Didsbury Memorial Complex against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder on Saturday, Nov. 27.

The Colts are currently in fourth place with 22 points, five ahead of Airdrie.

Saturday’s game against Airdrie gets underway at 8 p.m.
