DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts semifinal best-of-seven playoff series against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder is tied at one win each after the Colts fell 2-1 at home on Wednesday.

After a scoreless first period on Feb. 22, Colts forward Steven Bell got the team’s lone goal in the second, with assists from captain Paton Rothenbusch and Hayden Sotheran.

The Thunder got two in the third to win.

Colts netminder Chance Griffith stopped 40 of 42 shots sent his way.

The Colts took Game 1 of the series on Tuesday night, winning 3-2 in Airdrie.

The teams face off again Friday in Airdrie, with Game 4 going Saturday at the Didsbury Memorial Complex starting at 8 p.m.

Game 5 will be in Airdrie on Feb. 28, and Game 6, if needed, on March 1 at the Memorial Complex.
