CREMONA - The 2022-23 curling season in Cremona gets underway on Nov. 8, says longtime president Dave Whitlow.

The Cremona Community Curling Club will have about 160 members this season, with three leagues scheduled to run.

Those leagues are the Square Draw Evening league, the Ladies daytime league, and the Seniors league.

A total of three bonspiels are planned: the Mixed Open from Nov. 25 to Dec. 3; the Town and County from Jan. 6 to 14; and the Ladies from March 5 to 12.

He said the rink is in great shape and everyone will looking forward to a good, full season.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 season at Cremona was cancelled outright and only a shortened season was held last year.

“It looks pretty good for this season,” said Whitlow, who is in his 21st and final year as president.

The 2022-23 season will wrap up on March 17.
