SUNDRE – Members of Peak Theatre Players have recently been rehearsing for five scheduled performances of a production called Knickers! a ‘Brief’ Comedy.

The play, written by Sarah Quick, explores the effort of a few friends to adapt and evolve their small town’s economy when the community is sent into a depression after the local paper mill closes.

The plan involves establishing a custom under garment business as the town’s new foundation for economic survival in a comedy said to celebrate determination, entrepreneurial spirit, and the willingness to bare it all.

Two shows are set to start next Friday and Saturday nights on May 5-6, with performances wrapping up the following weekend including a Mother’s Day matinee.

Organizers welcome additional helping hands who are willing to volunteer to assist with tasks like clean-up.
