Final rehearsals well underway for upcoming performances of Camp Spartan in Sundre

The cast and crew who have been rehearsing Camp Spartan at the Sundre Arts Development Centre will be taking to the stage for their final performances next month with shows lined up Feb. 10-12 and Feb. 16-18. SUNDRE – The cast and crew of a locally-produced Broadway-style musical stage play called Camp Spartan have recently been busy refining their upcoming performances.

With six shows scheduled to take place next month at the Sundre Arts Development Centre, the actors of all ages have been reciting their lines and practising their dance steps during numerous rehearsals. 

The coming-of-age tale about self-determination is an original musical composed in collaboration by writer Brian Bailey and musician Jamie Syer, the creative minds behind a local theatre group called B.S. Productions.

The actors will be taking to the stage for their final performances next month with evening shows lined up Feb. 10-11 as well as Feb. 16-18. Although an afternoon performance on Feb. 12 is sold out, tickets as of Jan. 23 remained available for all of the evening performances.
