Letter: Too much light pollution in Carstairs

When I moved to Carstairs four years ago, you could see beauty of the night sky.

The stars were brilliant and the northern lights were awesome to see, but now there is too much light pollution in Carstairs.

We live next to the golf course and now they have installed lights so bright the night sky is gone.

The golf course should have asked its neighbours if they wanted to be blasted by lights every night. It’s time to find another town that has no light pollution.

Rich Barauskas,

Carstairs
