Two members of the Olds Fire Department have been promoted.
Jason Kjorsvik has been promoted to deputy chief and Lynn Roberts is now a captain.
Fire Chief Lorne Thompson made that announcement on Friday, Sept. 5.
Kjorsvik has been with the department since 1998. Roberts has been a member of the Olds Fire Department since 1993.
“Both newly promoted members will serve the department as leaders; mentoring, teaching, and supporting those who serve under them,” Thompson says. “Jason and Lynn both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their new roles and their dedication to this community is admirable.”
