OLDS — Mayor Michael Muzychka has added his voice to those mourning the loss of Bob Clark.
The former politician, Olds College chair, Alberta Sports Hall of Fame inductee, Olds Grizzlys general manager and team president passed away July 10.
Muzychka took a moment to pay tribute to Clark during a recent Olds council meeting.
He described Clark as “just a fantastic voice for the constituency here and our surrounding area for many, many, many years.
“He had a significant impact in the town of Olds with our Olds Grizzlys of course as well," Muzychka said.
“I know personally, Mr. Clark’s been a big influence in my life since the time I was trying out for (the) Grizzlys back in those old days.
“So on behalf of all of council and the town of Olds administration, I’d like to send his family out our condolences.”
