Bowden Institution inmate's death under investigation

Police, the coroner's office and Correctional Service of Canada officials are investigating the death of a Bowden Institution inmate.

Thomas Molloy, 56, died on June 26 in Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.

At the time of his death, Molloy had been serving a two-year sentence for sexual assault. His sentence had been imposed on Feb. 10 this year.

Molloy's next of kin have been notified of his passing.
