OLDS - Twenty-four teams battled it out in the Old Seniors Open Bonspiel this past week.

The tournament was held Jan. 13-17 at the Olds Curling Club.

The Al Graham rink won the A event, Axsel Pedersen’s team took the B event, the C event went to the George Rehman rink and Larry Flessatti’s rink won the D event.

Darlene Leasak, one of the organizers, said earlier that last year’s edition also featured 24 teams. She said the last time the bonspiel attracted more rinks was in 2018 when 28 teams took part.
