OLDS — Local figure skater Calista Walton, 14, has qualified for the Skate Canada & Adult championships Alberta/Northwest Territories/Nunavut, to be held in Edmonton March 15-17.
Walton qualified for the competition by winning a gold medal during a competition in Lethbridge.
Her brother Cole brought home a silver medal as well.
Several other members of the Olds Figure Skating Club obtained personal bests during the event.
