DIDSBURY - A sign campaign aimed at thanking essential care workers has raised $850 for a non-profit support group in town.

The funds given to Essentials for Our Community (EOC) were the proceeds of the town's Family Community Support Services (FCSS) lawn sign campaign to celebrate and thank essential care workers for their efforts during the pandemic.

In all, 34 signs were sold.

EOC provides meals to the less fortunate in Didsbury and district.

"€œWe can't say enough about these people and their time and dedication," Town of Didsbury Mayor Rhonda Hunter said of the EOC. "It is community pride and dedication and spirit."

She also commended everyone who bought signs and the area's frontline workers.
