DIDSBURY — The winners of the Didsbury & District Chamber of Commerce 2022 Business Awards represent a strong and vibrant local business community, says president Helen Hafke.

Marlene Aubrey, owner of Pink Bee Marketing & Consulting, says she was pleasantly surprised to win the Business of the Year Award.

“We are so excited to be honoured in this manner,” Aubrey told the Albertan. “We do marketing and consulting – so promotional items – and we do business consulting, how to put your brand on your business.”

The business has been operating in Didsbury for the past two years.

Announced on Thursday, the winners are as follows:

• Customer Service Award – Prairie Whistle Food Co.

• Professional of the Year – Ashely Edwards

The chamber also announced the winners of the Bloom Business Challenge, with the winners as follows:

• Most Colourful Display – Ruby Rock Construction

• Most Unique Display – Didsbury Motel

• Best Business Representation – Modern Mercantile

An awards banquet was not held this year, with the awards presented by chamber president Hafke at each business.
