CREMONA - Didsbury RCMP are investigating an armed robbery of a business in Cremona yesterday.

A man with a knife and a can of bear spray entered the undisclosed business in the village and demanded money from an employee, said police in a press release.

Didsbury RCMP responded at 10:25 a.m. on Oct. 2.

“Upon further investigation, it was learned that the unknown male fled in what is believed to be an older model, black Ford F-150 without a licence plate. The vehicle was seen on surveillance travelling north on Highway 22,” said police in the press release.

The suspect is described as approximately six feet, one inch tall with an average build and medium complexion. He was dressed in a dark hoodie, ball cap, sunglasses, gloves and a bandana covering his face.
