CREMONA - A byelection has been called in the Village of Cremona following the recent resignation of third-term councillor Joseph Shi, say officials.
Nomination day will be May 15 and the byelection will be held on June 12.
Anyone interested in running can pick up a nomination package at the Village of Cremona administration office.
Contacted by the Albertan, Shi said he resigned from council for personal reasons. He said he may run in the next general election for Village of Cremona council.
