Four marathons, 176,000 steps and thousands of dollars raised

Daylan Wizniuk was joined by a few supporters as he made his way through St. Paul Saturday evening. A few local runners also joined him in parts of his Glendon marathon on Sunday.

LAKELAND - Daylan Wizniuk was successful in achieving his goal of running four marathons over the weekend.

On Saturday, he started with running a marathon in Mundare, followed by a marathon in Vegreville. Shortly after 5:30 p.m., he pulled into St. Paul for another 42.2 km run.

On Sunday morning, he wrapped up his run in Glendon with yet another marathon. The ultra long distance runner now lives in Camrose but has ties to the St. Paul and Glendon communities.

He did the run as a way to fundraise for the Red Cross, in support of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. To support Wizniuk, visit his DONATION PAGE.
