CARSTAIRS -The Carstairs Pickleball Club held a successful fundraising pickleball tournament on April 20 at the Hugh Sutherland School, with players enjoying a full day of friendly competition.
Organizers commended all the players and thanked businesses that donated prizes.
The Carstairs Club is raising funds to support the completion of the outdoor pickleball courts in Carstairs, which organizers say is a great asset for the community.
For anyone interested in checking out the ever-popular sport, there are two locations to play indoor pickleball in Carstairs -- the elementary school and the high school.
